New Artwork: Huey P. Newton

Huey P. Newton was born on this day 70 years ago.  He changed my life, so I wanted to take the time out to do a little somethin’ for him on this special day.  If you don’t know, or know very little about him, please educate yourselves.  Read his autobiography, “Revolutionary Suicide,” watch some YouTubes, or visit blackpanther.org – the most reliable source of information about Huey and the Black Panther Party.

In all my years attending Oakland schools, I can’t remember one lesson being dedicated to teaching us about Huey.  So parents, it’s very important to share this information with your children.  They need to know what this man did, not only for Oakland, but for the world.

Love you, Huey!!!!!!

I WON THE DAVE CHAPPELLE CONTEST! HA!

(FROM MARCH 28, 2006)

Sorry for yelling folks.  I’m super juiced.  Neway I won third place, which is good enough for me.  Some of the other work was phenomenal, and I hardly even tried when I made my piece.  Click here to see the list of winners.
